Open-Handed Living
James reminds us that our lives, our plans, and our stuff are temporary gifts that should be surrendered to God's purposes rather than used for our own security. A faith that leaves evidence holds everything with open hands. Living proof trusts God's provision enough to obey even it doesn’t make sense, to plan with humility, and to live generously.

Through The Upside Down series, Jesus corrected our misconceptions of the Kingdom of God. In Foundations, we were reminded of the practices that shape us into Christlike disciples. And now, in Living Proof, the book of James will challenge us to demonstrate our Kingdom practiced-faith in everyday life. Our attitudes, choices, relationships, perseverance and obedience prove that following Jesus is more than what we say we believe; it is shown in how we live.
