Good Lost

The beauty of good defined in Genesis 1 is darkened by sin in Genesis 2. Sin begins when we stop trusting that God is good. Yet God doesn't abandon us when Good is lost. He comes after us.

Scripture: Genesis 3:1-24, Genesis 2:1-25

From Series: "Good."

Our culture defines "good" by preference, performance, or comparison. But throughout scripture, we see that good is more than what feels right or what simply works for us. Good is what reflects God Himself. “Good” is declared by God over creation. It flows from His character, becomes distorted by sin, and is restored through covenant, embodied in Christ, and then reproduced in God’s people through the Holy Spirit. It’s not just a moral category… it’s a movement. And together, we’re going to discover what it looks like to recapture the meaning of “good” the way God intended it.
