Sticks...

At its most basic level, a covenant is a binding agreement with defined boundaries, promises, consequences, blessings, and expectations. It "cuts" out what separates and then reconnects/restores us to our covenant partner. This describes our relationship with God! Covenants were a matter of survival in the Old Testament, and they still are today.

Scripture: Genesis 22:1-18, Genesis 3:22, Revelation 22:2-3, 1 Peter 2:24, Acts 5:30, Galatians 3:13

From Series: "The Covenant"

The Bible is about two things: Covenant and Kingdom. Covenant is not an easy concept to grasp, but when one does understand covenant is life-changing! Covenant brings scripture to life adding depth and reassurance to truths the Bible contains. Covenant is the foundation of faith and key to living in relationship with God. The Covenant conversation we are sharing together will help us navigate the nuances of relationship and responsibility, helping us to better put our faith into action.
