Good God

The goodness of God is revealed through his character and not determined by our circumstances. Psalm 34 invites us to experience God’s character--to taste and see--so we can know He is good.

Scripture: Psalms 34:1-22

From Series: "Good."

Our culture defines "good" by preference, performance, or comparison. But throughout scripture, we see that good is more than what feels right or what simply works for us. Good is what reflects God Himself. “Good” is declared by God over creation. It flows from His character, becomes distorted by sin, and is restored through covenant, embodied in Christ, and then reproduced in God’s people through the Holy Spirit. It’s not just a moral category… it’s a movement. And together, we’re going to discover what it looks like to recapture the meaning of “good” the way God intended it.
