Welcome to The Well!

Our name–and our values–come from John Chapter 4, where we see Jesus’ intentional interaction with a woman at a well. He saw her exactly as she was, thirsty and alone, and offered her the gift of living water. Just as she was compelled to share her story, we too are FILLED UP to be POURED OUT.

The Well Church of the Nazarene is a community of ordinary people responding to our own unique encounters with Jesus. We believe each person is created in the image of God and that the living water Jesus still offers today has the power to transform us, inviting us to become more like Him. Therefore, we celebrate every step taken and get excited about finding practical ways to share the hope we find in Jesus.

Church should be a place where you know you are loved, and it is our prayer that you’ll find a place to belong, build lasting friendships, experience God’s presence, and leave encouraged, knowing you matter to Him–and to us.

Our website remains a work in progress as we transition content from our previous site, so stay tuned! We’ll be adding links to kids and student ministries, message archives, stories recognizing where we’ve been and where we’re going–and MORE! In the meantime, we invite you to fill out a connection card and/or join us for one of our Sunday Gatherings (9:00 & 10:30am).

Room at the Table

We see in John 4 how a single invitation lead "many more" to become believers: the woman at the well encountered Jesus, and she HAD to share the news! Likewise, millions have heard and/or shared this same gospel invitation, but... there are millions of others who have not. As followers of Jesus, we are commanded to take that invitation into our communities--the places that are familiar to us as well as those where we are not welcomed and do not want to go. To do so, we need to see every single person we come in contact with as "table mates" and make room for them to sit and join us. In other words, we have to adopt the heart and passion of the woman at the well to share our relationship with Christ with everyone we encounter--even those who may have offended or hurt us. And it starts with one small conversation.

Scripture: John 4:25-30, John 4:39-42
