DESCRIPTION:Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup Begins at 7:30am\nThe Sapling Dash (for kids ages 10 and under) begins at 8:45am.\nTree Line Trek (10k) begins at 9:00am and the Leafy Loop (5K) begins at 9:15am. \nA portion of the proceeds go to Blessings in a Backpack\, along with 100% of donations submitted via the “donations” tab on the race website. For those who are not aware\, Blessings in a Backpack is a nationwide\, nonprofit organization that provides food for children who might benefit from supplemental nutrition on weekends throughout the school year. It is 100% community-funded\, relying solely on the support of individuals\, businesses\, churches and organizations in our community. BIB operates out of The Well\, serving all five Marysville elementary schools along with Creekview Intermediate\, averaging anywhere between 225-285 kids. \nRace participants from The Well can save $5 on their registration fee by using the code SHADY5 at checkout.
