SUMMARY:Christmas Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:Blessings in a Backpack is a nationwide program designed to provide non-perishable food every week throughout the school year for children that might benefit from supplemental nourishment. Bags are distributed in a discreet and caring manor prior to the weekend\, and there is no cost for them to participate. \nWe currently deliver blessings bags for more than 200 children between all five Marysville elementary schools and Creekview Intermediate. Since the program is 100% community funded\, we rely on the faithfulness and generosity of individuals and groups\, churches\, organizations\, and local businesses to provide for participating children through financial contributions and/or donated food items. \nYour donations through this Christmas Food Drive\, The Christmas Open\, and via the Blessings in a Backpack fund on our giving page throughout the year\, go directly toward feeding our community’s kids\, and we are grateful for your support.
