SUMMARY:Move Up Day
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, August 17 is Move Up Day\, which means kids (grades K-7) “age up” to the next level! New kindergarteners will move from the preschool area downstairs to the elementary area upstairs\, new 7th graders will age out of the kids area and into the youth group\, and everyone grades K-7 will be assigned a new small group leader! \nToddlers and preschoolers change classrooms throughout the year based on their age and child:adult ratios\, and junior/senior high schoolers typically stick with their assigned small group leader(s) year to year. But for our K-7 graders\, this time of transition is an exciting one\, and we like to celebrate in style. 🙂

SUMMARY:Church Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Our annual picnic is a long-standing tradition that’s about more than just good food. It’s about community–making space for new faces\, sharing stories\, and celebrating the many ways God has turned ripples into waves throughout the life of our church. \nWe’ll provide a main dish and two sides\, plus drinks. We just ask that each family bring a side dish and/or dessert to share in a disposable container or a dish labeled with your name. (And because we’re civilized folk\, we should probably remind you to bring a serving utensil as well.) \nInflatables will be available on-site for the kids!
