The word Maundy comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “command” or “mandate.” In John 13, Jesus gives us a new commandment – love one another as I have loved you. 

Join us at Jesus’ table this Maundy Thursday as we symbolically participate in His humility and accept His mandate. Through communion and the act of washing each other’s feet we will be reminded of how Jesus showed His love for us and how to love others.
