Alabaster Offering
Alabaster Offering
The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the world. While we understand the church consists of the people of God and not a building, buildings erected for the purpose of ministry help provide a sense of permanence, functionally enhance ministry efforts, and convey an attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends to “put down roots.”
Funds are used for new churches to purchase property, buildings, parsonages, construct church buildings, convert properties into church gathering spaces, purchase or build missionary homes and/or missions facilities, and to build or repurpose buildings on Bible college campuses.
You can contribute to the Alabaster Offering year-round through our dedicated Alabaster giving link, or you can pick up a re-usable Alabaster box from the back of the sanctuary to collect change. On September 13, we’ll host our traditional “Alabaster March,” during which boxes can be emptied into our church’s Alabaster box, and then monies will be counted and submitted to the general Church of the Nazarene Alabaster Fund.
